About the Role
As a Branch Incharge, you will lead one of our last-mile delivery branch, ensuring smooth daily operations, optimal rider productivity, efficient order processing, and cost control. You’ll work closely with the Cluster Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service while maintaining operational efficiency and adherence to SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the assigned branch/hub.
Supervise and coordinate with field executives, riders, and warehouse/sorting staff.
Ensure timely order sorting, dispatch, and delivery within committed SLAs.
Track and manage rider attendance, performance, and productivity.
Monitor key logistics metrics including on-time delivery, order accuracy, NDR, and returns.
Maintain inventory movement records and oversee handovers to riders.
Optimize last-mile cost per shipment (CPS) through route planning, rider utilization, and shift management.
Coordinate with central and city operations teams for issue resolution and escalations.
Ensure safety, hygiene, and compliance with SOPs within the branch premises.
Track and report daily KPIs, highlighting areas of improvement and actionable plans.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new riders and support staff.
Act as the single point of accountability for all operational matters in the branch.
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in last-mile logistics, e-commerce, or hyperlocal delivery.
Team leadership skills with hands-on experience managing ground operations.
Understanding of delivery SLAs, cost metrics, and productivity tracking.
Comfortable using tech platforms for tracking, reporting, and rider management.
Good communication and coordination abilities with internal teams and riders.
Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible to work on weekends and rotational shifts as per operational needs
