About the Role
As Design Lead, you’ll own everything from day-to-day design needs to long-term brand vision. You’ll lead the visual storytelling, guide creative output across digital platforms, and eventually play a core role in defining the UI/UX of our tech products. You’ll work closely with marketing, product, and leadership to bring consistency, clarity, and creative energy into everything the brand puts out.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and evolve Pikndel’s brand identity across all media: digital, print, product, and physical spaces
Lead the design of marketing assets: social media creatives, ad banners, videos, presentations, decks, and event collateral
Oversee all visual communication and ensure consistency in tone, style, and branding
Collaborate with the marketing team to create high-impact visuals for campaigns, partnerships, and content marketing
Work closely with product & tech teams to define UI/UX flows, wireframes, and visual designs for web and mobile apps
Guide and mentor freelance designers or junior team members as the design function scales
Take creative ownership of website design, layout systems, iconography, and user journeys
Translate complex concepts into simple, clear, and engaging visual stories
Manage and prioritize multiple design requests while maintaining high quality and fast turnaround
Build scalable design systems and brand guidelines for internal and external use
Participate in product brainstorming and provide creative input for new launches, features, and experience improvements
Requirements
4–6 years of experience in visual/brand design
Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity, digital creatives, and UI/UX projects
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, and motion tools (After Effects, Premiere Pro is a plus)
Deep understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling
Experience working closely with product and marketing teams in a fast-paced startup environment
Strong creative instincts with attention to detail, consistency, and scalability
Ability to manage timelines, communicate ideas clearly, and take feedback constructively
Passion for building clean, modern, user-friendly design experiences
Bonus: Prior experience in D2C, logistics, or tech-driven platforms
