About the Role
The First Mile Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all first-mile pickup operations within the city. This role requires strong operational execution, people management, process adherence, and coordination with warehouse partners, delivery executives, and clients. The goal is to ensure timely pickups, SLA adherence, and smooth flow of shipments into the network.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end first-mile pickup operations across assigned zones
Ensure on-time pickups and SLA adherence
Supervise and manage pickup executives/riders
Coordinate with clients, warehouses, and internal teams
Monitor pickup exceptions, delays, and escalations
Ensure SOP, compliance, and quality adherence
Track daily MIS, productivity, and performance metrics
Drive continuous improvement in efficiency and cost
Requirements
3–6 years of experience in logistics, e-commerce operations, first-mile/last-mile management.
Strong understanding of pickup processes, routing, and team management.
Proficiency in Excel, dashboards, and mobile-based operations apps.
Ability to work in fast-paced environments with strong problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills; client-facing experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree preferred (Operations, Supply Chain, or related field).
