About the Role
As Manager – Business Finance, you will work closely with operations, business teams & leadership to drive margin improvement, cost reduction, and dispute resolution. You’ll own the end-to-end business finance charter—from managing the financial impact of daily operations to identifying levers to improve gross margin (GM), reduce cost per shipment (CPS), and increase overall business efficiency. This role demands strong financial acumen, a deep understanding of logistics operations, and the ability to connect data with action.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and manage the dispute resolution process with clients & business team
Work with city and ops teams to track and improve GM and CPS across hubs and services
Analyse cost structures, identify leakage or inefficiencies, and drive corrective actions
Develop pricing models, cost simulations, and scenario planning for new service lines
Partner with procurement, supply chain, and ops to optimize fleet costs, productivity, and payouts
Track and reduce penalties, operational damages, and service-level costs
Standardize and automate reporting, dashboards, and audit processes
Ensure financial hygiene, compliance, and accuracy across all operational units
Requirements
3–6 years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or cost control, preferably in logistics or supply chain
Strong analytical skills and comfort with tools like Excel, Google Sheets
Solid understanding of P&L, margin analysis, and financial modeling
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence teams without direct authority
Highly detail-oriented with a bias for action and problem-solving mindset
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Prior experience in fast-paced startups or logistics tech companies
